Brad Keselowski earned his third consecutive win Sunday at the opening playoff race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth consecutive win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s brief track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.
Richmond is a flat, 3/4-mile track that’s quite like New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s apartment monitors. Drivers who’ve had success have been contenders in Richmond.
NASCAR visited with Phoenix and New Hampshire after each earlier in this season. In the summer, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski completed 15th and 32nd at Phoenix and New Hampshire this year, but he’s finished 11th or better in the past six races in Richmond. A top-10 seems likely for the No. 2 team, but you will find drivers more fit for its short-track racing on Saturday.
